LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts) Radiohead have debuted a brand new track/video called 'Staircase' online! A song 'rendered live for their studio mate Nigel Godrich's From The Basement web performance series.'
The song is a bonus extra from the band's unique session for producer Nigel Godrich's From the Basement project, a podcast turned TV show. The performance will be broadcast internationally on July 1 via BBC Worldwide, and with the band having yet to announce any live dates, the session will be fans' first opportunity to hear them perform material from 'The King Of Limbs' live.! The band was joined for the performance by second drummer Clive Deamer, who is best known for his work with Robert Plant and Portishead.
In a statement issued through the BBC last month, Bryce Edge of Courtyard Management (Radiohead's management company) said: "This will be Radiohead's first collaboration with BBC Worldwide and the band are excited at the prospect of having their first live performance of 'The King of Limbs' broadcast around the world."
