Using the included acoustic and electric guitar samples users can create projects using up to four instruments. This full version of Progression for iPad also allows users to expand the product to use electric bass, acoustic fingerstyle guitar, classical guitar, mandolin, and banjo. All of the techniques a guitarist would expect are available including: bends, vibrato, slides, hammer-on/pull-off, palm mute, whammy bar techniques, bass slap, harmonics... and more.

In addition to creating songs, Progression also allows users to search online, download, playback and edit popular files such as Guitar Pro and Notion files.
