Music Festival converges on Midland,
Texas (YES, I said Midland, Texas!) for an overflowing weekend of fun, food and Blues. The sights, sounds and smells of the Big Easy will fill the streets of West Texas, "when love comes to town..." Tall City Blues Fest is to be held on the beautiful downtown square of Centennial Park Plaza right in the heart of the city on July 29, 30, and 31, 2011. Gates open Friday at 3 pm and runs throughout the weekend with Indoor and Outdoor venues kickin' out rich soulful jamz. Talk about Blues in Strange Places - Midland, Texas will be the epicenter for Who's Who in Blues, as Promising Projects Inc. rolls out an all-star line-up of headliners https://www.tallcitybluesfest.com/lineup/. The show bill for this gig includes such notables as B-B. King's bandleader of 28 years James Boogaloo Bolden, Smokin' Joe Kubek featuring Bnois King, Eddie Turner and James Hinkle. The organizers will host an entire weekend of continuous live music by award-winning artists from across the country, not to mention, more fun and food than you can shake a saxophone at!
The best part of this project is the focus that Event Producer, Lisa Grissom, has put on Education and Cultural Diversity, bringing all her resources together for what is sure to be the regions most impressive gathering this year.
