SAN FRANCISCO (Signatures Network) - The music industry's leading merchandising and licensing company Signatures Network, announced yesterday that Britney Spears concert merchandise sales of approximately $140,000 in Detroit on Monday night, April 14, 2004, pushed her total concert merchandise sales over $30 million, the highest for a solo female artist in the last five years. Britney's sales on the "Onyx Hotel" Tour reached a high of $180,000 on March 8 in Los Angeles, $166,000 on April 13 in Chicago, $162,000 on April 10 in New York City, and $151,000 on March 9 in Oakland. The worldwide "Onyx Hotel" Tour will continue worldwide throughout the year. A European tour begins at the end of April and will include 28 shows including dates in London, Copenhagen, Berlin, Milan, Paris and Dublin. Dates in Asia are expected to be announced shortly. Britney will also begin the second leg of her U.S. tour in late June. Britney's best selling products include the pink Toxic Baby Doll shirt, the Onyx Hotel fashion jersey, and Onyx Hotel programs and posters. Britney's Onyx Hotel tour merchandise will gross more than $10 million in sales worldwide.
