NEW YORK (NY RnB magazine) - After five days of deliberation lead to a deadlock, a Philadelphia judge declared a mistrial Tuesday in the case against Beanie Sigel. The rapper, who was accused of shooting a man outside a bar last summer faced 20 to 40 years in prison if convicted. It is not immediately clear if he will be retried in this case. In a separate case, Sigel is facing a three years prison sentence after pleading guilty to federal drug and weapons possession. He is also awaiting trial on charges that he fractured a 53-year-old man's eye socket in another case.
