Livio is a young rhymer coming out of Seattle, WA. He has never been one to shy away from life's gritty realities, absorbing images from his environment and turning them into his lyrics. Livio has been known on the streets from a young age for his natural talent. Befriending other local rappers, he found himself recording out of home studios in the area. "It wasn't really much," Livio states. "I think we were recording on an 8-track, but at least we got to hear ourselves on tape." He was only 16 years old when he hooked up with an old friend turned producer, Amir, and after a year of diligently writing lyrics, joined forces with platinum producer Funkdaddy. Nine months later his first CD, "My Life Vol. 1," was born. The album had guest appearances by Noreaga, D12, Try Dee, B-Legit, and several other West Coat legends. The album was well accepted in the Northwest as well as the rest of the West Coast and secured his place in the West Coast underground hip hop scene.
Livio, along with producer Funkdaddy, has since started his own label, called Funkdaddy Records. Inspired by his love for rap, his family, friends, and the other members of his crew, Livio's aggressive, complex, and street-smart rhymes have brought new life to the Northwest hip hop scene. When asked how he overcame adversity in life and the music business Livio says, "By keeping faith in God, praying, staying hungry, humble, and determined." Displaying the same confidence he had as a young street rapper in Seattle, Livio is ready to take his game to the next level. "I just wanna tell people that if you have a goal, you have to work very hard to achieve it! You have to keep faith in God and pray, and surround yourself with people that have good work ethic. My people have been through a lot; we deserve this. So get ready for us!"
