New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Against All Will Official Website) Independent rockers, Against All Will (AAW) joins the likes of such hard rock heavyweights as Rev Theory, Seether, Stone Sour, and Disturbed, as their single, The Drug I Need moves up the charts and into the SiriusXM Octane Top 10.
The chart burner comes off the band's debut album, A Rhyme & Reason, which was independently released through the band's own label, Subsonic Industries. According to the song's author (and AAW founding member) Jimmy Allen, "This was the last song we recorded in Korn's Hollywood studio while working on the record. It really took on a life of it's own, and is one of my favorites to play live. This song is my therapy."
When asked to elaborate on the song's meaning, Jimmy replied, "It's about a relationship that had gone bad, but I couldn't seem to quit seeing this girl. She was like a drug. I knew it wasn't going anywhere, but I was so addicted to her and the drama that was her life. When the relationship ended, I felt clean and sober. You can't hate something you've never loved, right?"
The Drug I Need, as well as the single, All About You, have been in the national Active Rock Top 100 songs for nearly a year, with both hitting the upper levels of Mediabase Active Rock rankings for independent label releases. SiriusXM Octane has had The Drug I Need in regular airplay rotation for over six months.

Against All Will was formed by Jimmy Allen, lead guitarist, principal songwriter, and founding member of Puddle of Mudd. He is an award winning songwriter for "Blurry," "Drift and Die," and "She Hates Me," off the multi-platinum selling, Come Clean album. The band also features former Soulfly bassist, Cello Dias, whose collaboration on that band's first 3 albums helped sell millions of copies worldwide. AAW is powered by the vocals of frontman Jeff Current with Phillip Gonyea rounding out the line up on drums.
