Charlotte, NC (Top40 Charts/ Jaybird Communications) Nick Carter, beloved member of the
Backstreet Boys and accomplished solo artist, has chosen Indaba Music's 600,000-strong musician community to remix five of the tracks from his second solo release I'm Taking Off: "Love Can't Wait," "Falling Down," "I'm Taking Off," "Not The Other Guy," and "So Far Away."
The five best remixes, one for each track, will be selected for the official Remix EP issued by Carter's label Kaotic. Each of the winning remixers will also receive $1,500 for their work, along with features on Nick Carter's website and Facebook page. Ten runners-up (two for each track) will receive $500, be considered for release on the official EP, and receive features on Carter's website and Facebook page. Twenty-five honorable mentions (five for each song) will be selected by public voting and will also receive an autographed copy of I'm Taking Off.
Musicians have from now until August 11 to submit their remixes. From August 11-25, Nick's thousands of fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites. Sparking his career at the tender age of 12-years-old, Nick Carter toured the globe for the past fourteen years with the group that made him an international pop superstar, Backstreet Boys.
