Machine Head's Phil Demmel Offers Track-by-track Breakdown Of 'Unto The Locust'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ RoadRunner Records) Machine Head guitarist Phil Demmel was recently interviewed by the Denver alt-weekly Westword, and offered his thoughts on touring, the potential for a reunion of Vio-lence, his former band with Robb Flynn (hint: don't hold your breath), and other subjects. Easily the most important to Machine Head fans, though, will be the track-by-track description of the band's upcoming album, Unto the Locust, that he offers.

Demmel describes each of the disc's seven songs in detail, and indicates that there are a few more tracks which may emerge as B-sides down the road.

Unto the Locust will be released September 27, and can be pre-ordered at the Roadrunner Records tent on the Mayhem tour, which Machine Head is playing all summer. The band will also be signing daily at the Rockstar Energy Drink tent on the festival grounds; text MFHEAD to 67463 on the day of the show to receive signing times and be entered for a chance to win an autographed guitar from the band.
