Rick Springfield is a singer-songwriter, Grammy Award-winning musician, actor and best-selling author. With 17 top 40 hits, Springfield is best known for the Grammy-winning, 1981 No 1 single "Jessie's Girl", which became a blockbuster of 1980s pop rock music and helped establish the emerging music video age. As an actor, Springfield is known for playing Dr. Noah Drake on the daytime drama General Hospital. He originated the character from 1981-1983 and then returned to play him again from 2005-2008. Springfield also recently wrote and released his autobiography, Late Late at Night, which topped many best seller lists, including the New York Times Best Seller List.

Springfield has continued to release albums throughout the late 1980s, into the 1990s, the 2000s and beyond. His most recent release, Venus in Overdrive debuted on Billboard at No 28, his highest chart position since the mid 80s. The Motels are a New Wave music band from the Los Angeles area best known for "Only the Lonely" and "Suddenly Last Summer", each of which peaked at No 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1982 and 1983, respectively. On August 9th of this year, The Motels lost album Apocalypso, which was recorded 30 years ago, will be released by Omnivore Recordings. Limited edition orange vinyl versions of Apocalypso will be available. At the concert in Akron, The Motels will be performing a few songs from the new release but fans will also get to hear their hits and other popular material.

Brooklyn-born Kasim Sulton began his career playing piano for David Bowie's publicist Cherry Vanilla, before joining Todd Rundgren's prog-rock group Utopia in 1976. Kasim also wrote their only Top Forty hit, *Set Me Free.*

Kasim has appeared on well over 100 recordings. A renowned session artist and musician, Kasim is recognized and respected throughout the music industry for his work with artists such as Todd Rundgren and Utopia, Meat Loaf, Celine Dion, Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Joan Jett, Hall and Oates, Patti Smith, Patty Smyth and Mick Jagger; and this is only a handful of the artists and performers he has worked with in his extraordinary multi-faceted musical career.
