Jazz Vocalist/Singer-Songwriter Kenny Wesley Live At The Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage
Washington, D.C. (Top40 Charts/ Viola's Babygirl's Ventures) In support of his upcoming debut CD release, "All in a Week", Kenny Wesley will be performing live at the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, July 30, 2011 from 6:00PM to 7:00PM.
Kenny will be performing songs from his critically-acclaimed EP release, "I'm Sorry", and from his latest transcendent experience, "All in a Week". He will be accompanied by four exceptionally gifted musical allies: Aaron Hardin on keys, Robbie MacDonald on guitar, Dennis Turner on bass and Greg Clark, Jr. on drums.

"DC based singer-songwriter Kenny Wesley..is making a name for himself as one of the most promising independent artists on the scene today. Possessing a resonant and versatile voice...Remarkably, he has a gift of scat with an uncommon musicality." - Michael Lewis Soulmusic.com

Comparing Kenny's voice to legendary "soul crooners" is no misstatement. He captures the hearts of audiences with his vocal prowess (four-octave range) by embracing his passionately smooth and explosive raw vocals on classic hits such as "All in Love is Fair, "Time" "Promise Me", "Creepin" and countless others. Kenny has opened for numerous artists including Stephanie Mills, Anthony David, Carl Thomas, N'dambi and Maya Azucena; has shared the stage with countless legendary artists such as Eric Roberson, Yolanda Adams, Mike Phillips, Jean Carne and Gordon Chambers; has been featured on national television: in 2004, his song and video "Epiphany", co-written by Timothy Butler, was featured on ABC's The View. "Kenny's tenor is Hathaway deep, Luther warm and, in terms of color, could only be described as golden. Truly an anointing moment whenever he and a microphone cross paths." - Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter Gordon Chambers

When asked what people can expect from "All in a Week", Kenny says, "You can expect empowering messages about love and life. Stylistically - soul, ambient and jazz-inspired tunes and a few other surprises. Most of the tunes feature live instruments, so the album will have a very intimate feel. To me, I feel the sound of live instruments gives an album somewhat of a timeless quality. I aim to encourage as many people as I can. I hope my music will heal spirits and empower listeners to love themselves."

Feel free to link up with Kenny on his website at www.kennywesley.com and be sure to treat yourself to the intoxicating sounds of "I'm Sorry", along with some additional surprises.

Ann Marie Collymore AKA "Tha Connoisseur"- Soulafrodisiac.com testifies, "Let me tell ya'll, lord this chile can SANG. If you ever get a chance to see him in and around your part of town, go take the show in."
