Chili Peppers will perform 10 arena shows to support the release of the highly anticipated new album 'I'm With You', with tickets going on sale at 9am this morning.
The tour is likely to see Anthony Kiedis, Michael "Flea" Balzary, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer, who has replaced John Frusciante on guitar, perform an electric assortment of their biggest hits including 'Californication' and 'Under the Bridge' as well as new tracks including 'The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie', the first single to be released from the new album.
'I'm With You' is the tenth Red Hot Chili Peppers studio album and follows a three-year break from music for the band. The front cover of the album has been designed by Damien Hirst and tracks include 'Factory of Faith', 'Annie Wants a Baby' and 'Goodbye Hooray'.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers were formed in LA, California, in 1983 and have had a hugely successful career to date, winning more than 30 awards including American Music Awards, BRIT Awards and MTV awards. Their last album, 'Stadium Arcadium' was an acclaimed hit, winning five Grammys alone and receiving rave reviews from the press.
'I'm With You' and the supporting tour is bound to see the band catapulted back into the hearts of rock fans. Those in the UK can see them play in London, Glasgow, Sheffield, Manchester and Birmingham, while they'll be hosting a show for Irish fans in Dublin.
