Washington, DC (Top40 Charts/ Naylor Court official website) Naylor Court is making its triumphant return to the Velvet Lounge August 13, performing a playful yet introspective blend of alt-rock and pop. Wilco fans will love guitarist John Ray's heartfelt vocals and Alex Hervish' s sweeping violin lines. Rock enthusiasts and fellow musicians will appreciate the stellar rhythmic talents of bassist Aaron Miller and drummer Sebastian "Seabas" Restifo, as well the keyboard stylings of the recently returned Ben Richman. Just about everyone will enjoy the group's eclectic canon of covers, ranging from "Just Like Heaven" to "Wagon Wheel." Naylor Court has been playing around the D.C. Metro area for almost three years, gracing the stages of such venues as Wonderland Ballroom, Jammin' Java and the Red Palace. The group has taken its act on the road as well, and has made appearances in Philadelphia and at New York City's Bowery Electric. The members have plans to record an EP in the coming months, but in the meantime fans can listen to their music and watch clips of their live shows on Facebook.
