Young The Giant To Perform On Mtv Video Music Awards

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ RoadRunner Records) oung The Giant will be performing on the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards telecast, two days prior to kicking off their US tour with Incubus. They will be appearing in the "emerging artist" performance slot and are the only non-nominated band booked for the show.

"The last few months we have been seeing a lot more bands than we usually do in the hopes of finding that band that would stand out," Amy Doyle, executive producer of the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards told Billboard. "Their energetic live performance gave them the edge over other bands."
