Tickets for Two to the Indie Music Masquerade Gala & Songwriters Ball Fundraiser, Saturday, October 1.(If already a member cash value awarded.)
There will be multiple indoor stages with live music performances separated into two categories: Stages exclusively for Singer Songwriters who play their original material that they are looking for others to cut and stages designated for Performing Artist Only who are part of an existing show or training to be an Act. Those classified as Performing Artist can do cover tunes at those stages only. The goal is to pair Performing Artist who need songs with original songwriters who have the types of material the Artist are seeking for their Act. By mixing the two together we hope to get writers products in the hands of others who are working shows, so we are having a Pitch Fest.
Mid way thru the Fest on Saturday evening, the festival host an Indie Music Masquerade & Songwriters Ball. The Dance Band comes out, mask and costumes are donned, food is served in a continuous buffet and the party is on. So come as you aren't and hide behind a mask or costume. There will be a silent auction, raffles, prizes and give-a-ways for the fundraiser.
The Independent Music Association will be providing three days of working exhibits for attendees. The Tennessee Not For Profit is a working organization that helps independent music people get things done. Utilizing Action Plans especially designed for each members objectives, combined with a Step Level approach to the biz, the IMA offers an opportunity for members to pursue their goals. With their custom Pathfinder Task Manager soft wear, you can analyze results, measure progress and identify what is and is not working.
From the Music Factory Career Critique to Products Critique and other Step Levels like Recording, Publishing, Plugging, Legal, Records, Duplication, Distribution, Radio, Video & Broadcasting, Shop, Management, Promotions, Productions and so on, the Independent Music Association literally covers all phases of the music industry.
