The Band Perry Announces The Purveyors Of Performance Tour; New Video To Debut This Month
Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ Sunshine, Sachs & Associates) The Band Perry has announced The Purveyors of Performance Tour - a trek of approximately 75 dates that will include their own headlining shows, support dates for Keith Urban, Reba and yet-to-be-announced dates with one of Country music's major touring forces. The tour kicks off August 15, 2011 and will continue into 2012 with performances at theaters, arenas, amphitheaters and even stadiums!

"It has always been our dream to play Country music," says the band. "We've been on the road as a family band for thirteen years and experienced the intimacy of theaters, the energy of county fairs and the joy of connecting with new faces as we support these amazing artists at arenas and amphitheaters. Artists like Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Reba were the ones who originally inspired us to dream big...now they have helped our dreams come true. We couldn't be more grateful to them or excited about the future."

As they prepare for their upcoming tour dates, the band is also approaching the end of Tim McGraw's Emotional Traffic tour. The experience has left the sibling trio in awe. "Tim McGraw is a gentleman, a gracious host and the epitome of a mega-star - we have learned so much from him."

August is shaping up to be a high profile month for TBP with the debut of a new video, the airing of the Teen Choice Awards, where they have two nominations (8/7), a performance on CMA Music Festival: Country's Night To Rock on ABC (8/14) and a Jimmy Kimmel Live! concert (8/17).

The new video for their fourth Country single, "All Your Life" is planned for a mid-August debut (details to be announced.) The cinematic video will feature TBP as a vagabond troupe and actually inspired the "Purveyors of Performance" theme of the upcoming tour (photo attached).

The band is also celebrating the extended life of "If I Die Young," which has gone from being the No 1 song in Country music to the Pop charts. The single is at No 15 on the Top 40 Chart, No 9 on the Hot A/C Chart and No 14 on the A/C Chart, according to Billboard. The video for the song is also receiving airplay on VH1 and MTV.

Also in August, ABC will air CMA Music Festival: Country's Night To Rock that will include a performance from TBP (8/14). At the Teen Choice Awards, The Band Perry is nominated for Choice Country Group and Choice Country Single. Fans can now vote each day at teenchoiceawards.com and tune in to the Awards on FOX on Sunday, August 7. On August 8 in Dallas, TBP will headline a Samsung AT&T Summer Krush concert, excerpts of which will air on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on August 17th. Other artists participating in the Summer Krush Concert Series across the country include Coldplay, Lenny Kravitz, OneRepublic, Luke Bryan and Cee-Lo, among others.

ABOUT THE BAND PERRY: The Band Perry's "modern throwback" style combines classic Country with an eclectic infusion of Rock, Gospel and Soul. As songwriters and musicians, their sound is distinct and rounded out by the rare magic of perfect three-part harmonies. Released in October 2010 by Republic Nashville, the self-titled debut album, THE BAND PERRY was certified Gold just four months after it arrived in stores and is now poised to go Platinum by the end of 2011. The album contains the Double-Platinum, Grammy-nominated, No 1 hit single, "If I Die Young"; the Gold-certified cheatin' anthem, "You Lie," which reached the No 2 spot on Country Charts; their light-hearted, uptempo debut single, "Hip To My Heart"; and of course, their latest ballad, "All Your Life."

In June 2011, The Band Perry won the CMT Music Award for USAWEEKEND Breakthrough Video of the Year (fan-voted) and was chosen as Country music's best new live act in a category sponsored by Nationwide Insurance (fan-voted). In April 2011, they earned ACM Awards for New Duo or Group of the Year (fan-voted) and the coveted New Artist of the Year (fan-voted). TBP has also been nominated for Grammy, CMA and ACA awards. The Band Perry is currently nominated for two TEEN CHOICE 2011 nominations for Choice Country Group and Choice Country Single.

They have performed on the TODAY Show, The View, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and have been profiled by E! News, CNN, Extra, Access Hollywood and Fox & Friends. Additionally, they have graced the cover of Pollstar and Music Connection and have been featured in a wide range of print publications from USAToday to People magazine.
