(OTCQB: DISK) has acquired North American home entertainment and digital rights to A LITTLE HELP, 'The King of Queens' creator Michael J. Weithorn's feature directorial debut starring Jenna Fischer ('The Office', Hall Pass), Chris O'Donnell ('NCIS: Los Angeles', Kinsey), Rob Benedict (Supernatural), Brooke Smith (Fair Game, 'Grey's Anatomy'), Kim Coates (Sons of Anarchy, Resident Evil: Afterlife) and introducing
Daniel Yelsky with Lesley Ann Warren ('In Plain Sight', Peepworld) and Ron Liebman. Initial negotiations began at this year's Cannes Film Festival and were just finalized. The announcement was made by Image's Chief Acquisitions Officer Bill Bromiley.
The deal with Image Entertainment for the film is part of a multi-platform strategy for the project, which opened last week. Freestyle Releasing, in collaboration with Strategic Film Partners, is overseeing the theatrical release.

Set in suburban Long Island, A LITTLE HELP examines a period of chaotic and rather bizarre upheaval in the life of wife and mother Laura Pehlke (Fischer). It's the story – funny, touching, sad, and real – of an ordinary person, engulfed by ordinary events, making an extraordinary emotional yet entertaining journey.
'A LITTLE HELP is a poignant film about how having everything fall apart can sometimes help one focus on what's really important,' said Mark Ward, Vice President of Acquisitions for Image Entertainment. With original songs written by Jakob Dylan, Sony Music will release the soundtrack to coincide with the film's release.
