(VLCO.PK) announced today that, through its distribution agreement, it will be releasing a rare and unreleased single from the forthcoming album "The Early Sessions-Uncovered" by Ike and
Tina Turner on iTunes and all other digital download sites.
The song to be released will be a single from the early career of Ike and Tina Turner called A Fool for a Fool, a powerful and soulful track that was recorded before Tina became a superstar. ValCom's audio library contains master tapes of studio sessions from the late 50's and early 60's. The recordings have been digitally re-mastered by veteran producer Joel Wertman to achieve superb quality and clarity.
"The releases via digital download will be the first taste of the ValCom music library that will be available to the general public," stated Vince Vellardita, President and CEO of ValCom. ValCom's next release will feature a special version of The Platters hit The Great Pretender that features a surprise, superstar guest vocalist. This single will also be included as part of an album featuring duets by a contemporary Artist singing along side the original Artist on their original recordings.
