ZZ TOP lay undisputed claim to being the longest running major rock band with original personnel intact. After 40 years together it's still Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard.

The band had a number of hits starting off, but it was not until the band released 1983's Eliminator that they reached a new height in popularity.
