Lachi To Perform Free Show At NYC's The Living Room For Charity Rock's Fundraiser To Supports The Boys & Girls Club, Aug 27 2011
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Join Charity Rock to support the efforts of the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club by attending a FREE SHOW (donations suggested) on Saturday, August 27th at the Living Room - (154 Ludlow Street) - from 2:00PM to 6:00PM. The show will feature some of NYC's greatest emerging talent including acclaimed singer-songwriter Lachi and her power driven urb/alt band Meridian Gold, high-energy ska rock band What's In This Juice?, well-known NYC busker Akil Dasan, classically trained progressive band Circadian Clock, and talented singer-songwriter Andy Mac! Prints will be available for purchase from Brooklyn-based photographer Greg Barrett.

The stated mission of the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club is to save and enhance the lives of New York City boys and girls who by means of economic and/or social factors are most in need of its services. Charity Rock, which uses the efforts of rock and pop live and recorded music to raise funds for varying organizations benefiting youth, will be hosting the fund raising event in support of the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club. Though the event is free to the public, donations of $10 are highly encouraged at the door or even directly at the Madison Square Boys & Girls club website.
