NEW YORK (Lava Records announcement/Uncle Craker Official Website) - Multi-platinum recording artist Uncle Kracker finds his way on top of the charts again with his brand-spanking new single Rescue. The track was No 1 most added at Hot AC radio beating out longtime format favorites Jason Mraz, Counting Crows and Richard Marx.

Rescue, penned by tunesmith Diane Warren, is the first single off Uncle Kracker's highly anticipated third solo effort entitled "Seventy Two & Sunny," which will be released on Lava Records on June 29th.
Uncle Kracker's new single Rescue follows closely on the heels of his No 1 chart-topping crossover hit When the Sun Goes Down, featured on Kenny Chesney's album. Chesney, returns the favor by collaborating with America's favorite uncle on Last Night Again, "Seventy Two & Sunny's" countrified album closer. The pair will kick off the Guitars, Tiki Bars, And A Whole Lotta Love tour beginning June 3rd in Tulsa, Oklahoma and continuing on through mid-September.

Uncle Kracker first gained notoriety as a member of Kid Rock's Twisted Brown Trucker Band. His first solo album 'Double Wide,' released in 2000, sold over 2 million copies and spawned the hit single "Follow Me."
In 2002, Uncle Kracker released his sophomore album 'No Stranger To Shame,' which featured the hit singles "In A Little While" which went to No 4 on the Hot AC chart and the chart-topping remake of Dobie Gray's pop-soul classic, "Drift Away."
"Drift Away" currently holds the record as the longest reigning No 1 single on the Adult Contemporary Mainstream Radio Chart, beating out Celine Dion's previous record of 21 weeks on the chart.

Also Uncle Kracker has been added to the star-packed, opening night lineup Thursday, June 10, at The Coliseum for CMA Music Festival/Fan Fair - solidifying it's growing reputation as "Country Music's Biggest Party."
