Susan Boyle Announces The Release Of New Album 'Someone To Watch Over Me'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Syco/Columbia Records recording star Susan Boyle, who catapulted to international stardom overnight, sold 14 million albums in 14 months and smashed music records around the world will be releasing her third album, Someone To Watch Over Me, on Nov. 1

For Someone To Watch Over Me Boyle reunited with well-known British songwriter/record producer Steve Mac, who produced her second album, The Gift. Together they have created a sensational and contemporary album that will span the generations.

In her now-trademark style, Boyle gives her interpretations to pop classics once again on her new album. For Someone To Watch Over Me, Susan fearlessly takes on iconic songs such as Unchained Melody and Both Sides Now, giving them a new identity. And, of course, there is her rendering of the title cut, a George and Ira Gershwin song that was written in the 1920s but sounds contemporary when sung by Boyle.

The album also includes original material: This Will Be The Year by Emeli Sande and Naughty Boy with Josh Kear and Return by Steve Mac and Wayne Hector.

Boyle says her song choices for the album were influenced by fans who related to her own life story and have shared their histories with her. There are certain songs that I liked that resonated with the letters that people had written and sent to me. she said. I knew thats what my record needed to be about. They wrote about grief, love, happy and sad times; it was all deeply moving and the songs I selected mirror their emotions and life experiences.

Boyle amassed her huge fan base after she sang a single song on Britains Got Talent in 2009 (I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables); within 24 hours the song was being watched by millions on YouTube, and then millions more on American network news programs that picked up on her remarkable Cinderella story.

I Dreamed a Dream remains as the UKs best-selling debut album of all time, and sold more than 700,000 copies in the first week of release in the U.S. To date, her two albums have sold over 14 million copies and went to number one in over 30 countries.
