Gym Class Heroes Set To Release 'The Papercut Chronicles II' On November 15, 2011
NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Decaydance/ Fueled By Ramen Records) Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen recording group Gym Class Heroes has announced a new release date for their hugely anticipated new album, "THE PAPERCUT CHRONICLES II." The album - which includes the top 10 smash, "Stereo Hearts (Feat. Adam Levine)" - will arrive in stores and at all digital retailers on November 15th. New songs from the album will be revealed online shortly.

"Stereo Hearts" is shaping up as another massive hit for the alternative hip-hop superstars. The track - produced by Benny Blanco (Katy Perry, Wiz Khalifa, Ke$ha) and Robopop - is blowing up at multi-format radio outlets nationwide. In addition to its top 10 success at CHR/Top 40, "Stereo Hearts" is currently poised to enter the top 20 at Rhythmic while also making a top 40 debut at Hot AC. The single is also a top 10 sensation on Billboard's "Hot 100" and a top 5 triumph on the "Digital Songs" chart, with total sales now exceeding 1 million.

What's more, the "Stereo Hearts" companion video clip - directed by Hiro Murai (Lupe Fiasco, Bloc Party, B.o.B) - has been added across all MTV platforms, as well as Fuse and VH1, where it currently stands in the top slot on the VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown. The video is streaming now at Fueled By Ramen's official YouTube channel (located at www.youtube.com/user/FueledByRamen) where it has drawn over 9 million views. The "Stereo Hearts" lyric video - directed by DJay Brawner (Foo Fighters, Scars On 45) and also featured at Fueled By Ramen's YouTube channel - has proven nearly as popular, earning close to 6 million views and counting.

As if that weren't enough, "Stereo Hearts (Feat. Adam Levine)" is also drawing extensive critical acclamation, with Entertainment Weekly praising its "languid, well-bronzed hook." Billboard extolled frontman Travie McCoy's "clever verses" and Levine's "poignant hook," going on to hail the "upbeat love song" as "something unique." Rolling Stone applauded McCoy's "skill at pop that floats between styles," declaring "Stereo Hearts" to be "a little bit hip-hop, a little bit disco, a little bit dark-synched club music."

Gym Class Heroes - who recently performed "Stereo Hearts" with Levine on NBC's blockbuster singing competition, The Voice - will herald "THE PAPERCUT CHRONICLES II" with a major North American tour. The dates - which see the band co-headlining alongside The Dirty Heads - kick off on October 12th at Tampa, Florida's Jannus Landing and then continue through mid-November (see below itinerary). The dates follow the band's recent stint as one of the top acts headlining Vans Warped Tour '11. Gym Class Heroes were also among the stars performing at the sold-out FBR15 series of multi-artist concerts at New York City's Terminal 5.
