In addition to the artists scheduled (above) Anton Perich decided to loan one of his original pieces in honor of Saint Lips who are making the journey to NYC from Rome, Italy to play our showcase. Anton was one of the artists in the Andy Warhol circle who invented the painting machine as well as being a contributing photographer for Andy Warhol's Interview Magazine. Anton later started Night Magazine and is credited as being the original NYC nightlife photographer.

Mike Edison will be gracing us with his incredible story telling abilities between bands!
Mike is the former publisher of High Times, a Hustler and Penthouse scribe, the former editor-in-chief of Screw magazine, and a professional wrestler of no small repute. Edison is the author of 28 pornographic novels and the outrageous memoir I Have Fun Everywhere I Go — Savage Tales of Pot, Porn, Punk Rock, Pro Wrestling, Talking Apes, Evil Bosses, Dirty Blues, American Heroes, and the Most Notorious Magazines in the World. (Fararr, Straus & Giroux/Faber and Faber). He has contributed to numerous magazines and websites including Spin, The Daily Beast, and the New York Press, for whom he covers classical music and professional wrestling. In addition he has written liner notes for popular rock groups including the Stooges, the Ramones, and the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, as well as press kits and bios for the New York Dolls, Was (Not Was), and many others.

He currently is releasing his new book "Dirty, Dirty" set to drop in October, so there will be copies available... and I bet he would be kind enough to sign a few too.

So come expecting Bowery Poetry Club style artistic mayhem!! We're covering all the bases:

Music
Art
and
Rock-n-Roll Literature!
