New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Other Voices NYC has confirmed the addition of musicians Martha Wainwright, The Lost Brothers, and Jape, along with Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Paul Muldoon, Booker Prize-winning author Roddy Doyle (who wrote The Commitments, starring Glen Hansard), and actor/director Gabriel Byrne for the lineup of its two-night celebration of music and literature at Le Poisson
Rouge Oct 27-28. They'll join an already star-studded cast of Irish & American artists, including
Glen Hansard (The Swell Season), Bryce &
Aaron Dessner (The National),
Thomas Bartlett, Laurie Anderson, Sam Amidon, Bell X1,
Martin Hayes, and more.
Other Voices NYC, which is presented by Imagine Ireland in association with The Burgundy Stain Sessions, will feature musical performances, readings, and never-before-seen collaborations honoring the connections between Irish and American music and literature.
