New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Organic Entertainment and Media) Austin's weirdest and most outrageous rock band One-Eyed Doll will return home again this month after weeks of being on the road with Cold and Wayne Static of Static X. They are headlining "Weirdfest," sponsored by KTSW-FM and Weird Magazine, at Texas Music Theater in San Marcos on October 29. Texas Music Theater is located at 120 E San Antonio. It's an all-ages show and just $5 for those attending that are 21 and over. Doors are 8:00 PM and supporting acts take the stage starting at 9:00 PM. The band plans to turn up their "tricks" and stage antics an extra notch as a tribute to the season and as a "treat" to their fans from the region.
"We are SUPER excited to be playing so close to home on our favorite holiday! We miss Texas dearly after being on tour so much this year. I'm ready to let it all out at Weird Fest!," comments Kimberly Freeman of One-Eyed Doll.
One-Eyed Doll has been busy recording their soon-to-be-released full-length album with acclaimed producer Sylvia Massy (Tool, System of a Down, Johnny Cash). Look for One-Eyed Doll on the road again this fall and winter including upcoming shows at Backstage Live in San Antonio on October 30, The Boiler Room in Dallas on October 31 and Checkpoint Charlies in New Orleans on November 5.
