Brooklyn South Band: Backing up Daddy Rocker is a diversified hometown band known as the "Brooklyn South Band" that has international as well as local roots. Ilya Sil recently from Moscow, Russia on drums and vocals, Kazuki Kitamori from Japan, and Joe Anastasi from Brooklyn who lays down a mean bass line. And of course there is Paulo Stochaj from Seattle Washington, a gifted lead guitarist.
Tom Moran was born and raised in Canarsie, Brooklyn. His latest album Ain't Gonna Give Up marks and entirely new direction for Tom and his career as a country/rock recording artist. Tom is a gifted lyricist and vocalist whose talents have been compared to Bob Dylan,
John Mellencamp and Bruce Springsteen. Inspired by these great artists, Tom is on a mission to forge his own unique style of country and rock 'n' roll music. Tom is a recovering alchoholic, who at one point in his life was ready to give up on life and love.
Tom Moran a.k.a. Daddy Rocker has been clean and sober now for over 21 years and he has a Master's Degree from Brooklyn College. He is also a Public School Teacher for over 14 years. Tom's inspirations are his mom, his son Jonathan and his father-in-law
Dr. John who was recently inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. Tom's life experiences and recovery from addiction have given him the ability to create music that is deeply personal with a universal appeal.
