Shortly after their inception, Shadow Pilot received international exposure with the remix of their single, "Long Days," by hip-hop artists Somobe (The Great Communication, 2005). Says Shadow Pilot's Joe Ferris, "The success of Somobe's remix inspired us to take our time finishing the project so we could hire world-class audio engineers."
Shadow Pilot's EP, 2AM, was mixed and co-produced by
Danny Saber, known for his work with artist
Esthero (Song for Holly, featured in the movie, "Go") and
David Bowie ("Little Wonder, Dance Remix" featured in the movie Hackers). 2AM was mastered by Dave Collins of Dave Collins Mastering (Linkin Park, Weezer).
