OSLO, NORWAY (Top40 Charts/ Interscope Records) Nobel Peace Prize Concert organizers announced today that Sugarland, David Gray, Jill Scott, Janelle Monáe, Matthew Morrison, Ellie Goulding, Bernhoft and World Youth Choir will perform at the 18th annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert on Sunday, December 11th in Oslo, Norway at the Oslo Spektrum arena. Additional artists will be announced in coming weeks.

This year's Nobel Peace Prize Concert will honor laureates Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Leymah Gbowee and Tawakkul Karman, for what the Norwegian Nobel Committee calls "their non-violent struggle for the safety of women and for women's rights to full participation in peace-building work." The award is given annually to an individual or organization whose work exemplifies a spirit of hope and leadership that will help promote peace in the world. The Concert is presented by the Nobel Peace Prize Concert AS and broadcast to a global audience.

"We're very pleased these talented artists will join us for another memorable Nobel Peace Prize Concert," said Geir Lundestad, Secretary of the Norwegian Nobel Committee. "This event is an extremely powerful way to celebrate peace through music and also make new audiences aware of the significant contributions of the Nobel laureates."

Tickets for the Nobel Peace Prize Concert will go on sale Thursday, October 20th at the Oslo Spektrum box office and via www.oslospektrum.no

The Nobel Peace Prize is the most prestigious award in the world, honoring icons such as Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, Mikhail Gorbachev, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Barack Obama, Kofi Annan, Al Gore and other remarkable individuals and organizations. For the past seventeen years, the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony has been followed the next day by the Nobel Peace Prize Concert, a musical celebration honoring the laureate.

Cisco is the global sponsor of the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. The Concert is presented by the Nobel Peace Prize Concert AS and is produced by IMG, in cooperation with Eyeworks Dinamo and NRK.

"Cisco is very proud to be the global sponsor of the Nobel Peace Prize Concert for the eleventh year," said Simon Willis, Vice President, Internet Business Solutions Group, Cisco. "Our continued involvement in this event reflects Cisco's aim to help individuals, companies and countries use the internet to collaborate, educate, empower and further the ideals and innovations inspired by Alfred Nobel and his legacy."
