Stevie Wonder at a House Full of Toys Benefit Concert and released a new recording and video of "Abracadabra," a high powered, explosive remake of the Steve Miller Band's iconic 1982 hit.
The multi-talented singer and performer works a different kind of magic as "Young Frank Sinatra" in the upcoming Los Angeles area run of "Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show," a popular staple of the Las Vegas entertainment experience that is embarking on a U.S. Theatre tour this fall.
Richman will perform in its weeklong, eight show stop at the elegant Fred Kavli Theatre in the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza in Thousand Oaks, Calif. October 25-30.
The young singer's highly acclaimed 2010 debut video of "Defying Gravity" - a song from the hit musical "Wicked," originally performed on Broadway by Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth - has garnered an impressive 63,000 views on YouTube.
Wonder invited Richman to sing at the 15th Annual House Full of Toys Benefit Concert, held last December at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles; Richman received a standing ovation for his performance from an audience of over 7,500 people. He has also been featured on Byron Allen Entertainment Studios' "The Young Icons," a nationally syndicated show about young people changing the world.
Evening performances of "Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show" will be at 8 p.m. each night from Tuesday, October 25 through Saturday, October 29. Sunday evening's performance (October 30) is at 7 p.m. Matinee performances are at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
