Atlanta, Georgia (Top40 Charts/ Fishman Official Website) Fishman, the acoustic amplification company, announces today the winners of the, 'Fishman Singer/Songwriter Competition.'
1st Place - Karl Werne, Norfolk, VA - Prize: Fishman SA220 PA & EVPl80a Microphone
2nd Place - Patrick, Charlottesville, VA - Prize: Vocalist Live 5
3rd Place - B-Rad & Brian, North Carolina - Prize: Toca Djembe
4th Place - Jen Nguyen, Boston, MA - Prize: LP Cajon
The Competition, which ran from August 8 through October 3, 2011, gave singer/songwriters in the Southeast United States the opportunity to showcase their talent and their music. Musicians simply registered at the Competition website, https://Fishman.CompetitionAlley.com, and created a profile. Fans reviewed profiles and voted for their favorite.
The fifteen-musicians with the most online votes competed, 'live,' in the finals at Wild Bill's, 'America's Largest Dance Club and Concert Hall,' outside of Atlanta, Georgia, on October 18, 2011.
