Live Nation And The Apollo Theater Present Anthony Hamilton At The Apollo On December 9, 2011
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Live Nation/ Apollo Theater Official Website) The Apollo Theater, in conjunction with Live Nation, today announced that celebrated singer-songwriter Anthony Hamilton will grace the Apollo stage for a special show on Friday, December 9th at 8pm. The Grammy Award-winning artist, who has built a massive following with his soulful voice and hypnotic melodies, is no stranger to the Apollo Theater.
At the beginning of his career, Hamilton performed on the Apollo's popular television show "Showtime at the Apollo" as a guest artist and then later for a special event at the Theater in 2008. This concert will mark the singer's first time headlining a show at the legendary Theater and is a part of his national club and theater tour.

The December 9th show will also be a pre-celebration of his 4th studio album set for a December 13th release on RCA Records. Hamilton recently released "Woo" as the first single for the yet-to-be-titled album. The follow-up to his Gold-certified, critically-acclaimed 2008 release The Point of it All, the new album will feature production by industry legends and Grammy Award winning producers Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Salaam Remi, Kelvin Wooten and Hamilton, himself.

Tickets are $45, $59.50, $79.50 and are available at apollotheater.org or through the Apollo Theater Box Office, 125th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues, 212/531-5305 and charge by phone 800.745.3000 and select Ticketmaster locations.
