International Music Sensation J Boog Has Second No1 Release With Mango Music Management
Deerfield Beach, FL. (Top40 Charts/ Mango Music Management) Earlier this year, music industry veterans Kevin Jackson & Anthony Alexander sat down with entrepreneur David Broderick to discuss the rapidly changing music industry. The result of these talks was the formation of Mango Music Management (https://www.gomangomusic.com), which in less than six months of operation has successfully managed not one but two chart topping releases with the international reggae sensation J Boog (https://www.jboogmusic.com), alongside the independent music label Wash House Music (https://www.washhousemusic.net). The more recent of those two releases, J Boog's "Backyard Boogie is currently sitting at No 1 on the Billboard Reggae Music Charts for the third consecutive week. The album includes feature performances from Peetah Morgan of Morgan Heritage, Tarrus Riley, Fiji, Spawn Breezie, Jah Maoli, and Jacob Hemphill of SOJA.

"It's a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to how talented J Boog is," Mango Music Management's President Anthony Alexander shares. "I was introduced to J Boog while acting as manager for Gramps Morgan, who produced multiple tracks on Backyard Boogie. I knew from the moment I met him that he had something special and we jumped at the opportunity to be part of it".

Shortly after Mango Music Management came on as artist management, J Boog's self-titled EP (https://www.jboogep.com) was released, peaking at #1 on Amazon Digital Reggae & World Charts, #2 on iTunes Reggae Charts, & #3 on Billboard Reggae Charts. However, there was no time to celebrate as everyone involved with the project knew there was a tight timeline for the upcoming album release. "Some people looked at us like we were crazy releasing so quickly, but it was clear that J Boog's fans wanted the music and piracy had been a huge issue in the past, so we knew we needed to move quickly," Mango's Kevin Jackson remembers. "It was a collective grind for all of us, but everyone came together and got the job done".

Part of preparation for the album release involved a commercial US radio push for the Don Corleon produced lead single, "Let's Do It Again", which is featured on both the EP & the album. The push has resulted in the song getting spins on some of the largest rhythmic, urban, & top 40 stations in the country. J Boog's current focus is on continuing to expand his audience through live performances and appearances worldwide. He celebrated the release of "Backyard Boogie" with his first trip to Africa as part of "Give Africa Hope" (https://www.giveafricahope.com), spending time on the ground in Kenya as part of a group of artist Goodwill Ambassadors. In November, J Boog will be kicking off his first European Tour, with performances in Germany, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Portugal, & Italy.

For the team at Mango Music Management, they are just getting started. "We are really excited about The Resolvers and their upcoming EP release," says Mango CEO David Broderick. "We are also looking forward to expanding our team and artist roster while contributing to the success of our artists and partners".
