New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ New Black Music) R&B Soul recording artist Niva the Soul Diva has teamed up with the state university of new york College of Optometry to encourage eye care among young people. Niva the Soul Diva received a pair of Marchon transition lens designer framed glasses that she wears when she does interviews and speaking engagements.The recording artist spoke about the fact that many kids don't do well in school because they can not see well. Niva stated "i want parents to bring their kids to the new york school of optometry and get them checked out by the best, you have to make it a priority to make sure your kids can see well. even if they are already in high school get them checked". Niva went on to relate how the glasses that she had purchased from a local eyewear store were the wrong prescription, Niva stated " The one thing i can say is the the university eye center is very thorough, they have alot of great doctors there that take their time. the prescription i had received from my local eyeglass store were completely wrong.
Now after getting checked out at the eye center i have the right prescription and i can see so much better, last week we were driving to one of my shows and my band was amazed at how far away i could read the street signs". The Marchon transition glasses turn into sunglasses in bright sunlight. "All of my friends and fans think my transition glasses are so cool " niva stated.
