New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Rolling Stone has premiered a new Mark Ronson-produced track featuring Trombone Shorty, Mos Def, Erykah Badu, members of the Dap Kings, and Meters drummer Zigaboo Modeliste, as part of the Re:Generation music project. The project follows five DJ's as they re-interpret five traditional styles of music; Ronson contributes his take on New Orleans jazz called "A La Modeliste." In the song, Trombone Shorty's horn sets the NOLA vibe from the top, and Badu's lyrics name-check not only Mama's gumbo, but Trombone Shorty himself.
