Jessie J Needs Ellie To Stay 'Sane'

LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts) Jessie J has revealed Ellie Goulding is one of her closest friends and the 'Starry Eyed' singer is one of the few people she can really relate to.

In her new interview for December's issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, the 'Nobody's Perfect' star explained that it's great to have friends in a similar position to her as they understand the pressures and strains of being in the public eye:
"I'm really close with Ellie Goulding. She keeps me sane as she's one of the people who can understand what my life is like."

She also admitted that she's recently added names such as Tinie Tempah and Jason Derulo to her phone book and was impressed by how down to earth they were:
"I've recently become friends with Jason Derulo. He is so cool - I take the p**s out of him a lot! And Fearne Cotton, and I got on really well with Dermot O'Leary when I did 'X Factor'. I'm really close with Tinie Tempah too. He came over for dinner last week."

The 'Who's Laughing Now' hitmaker has around "10 really good girlfriends", but she admits some don't get in touch with her because they think she will be too busy with her showbiz lifestyle.
She explained: "I've had friends who've dipped in and out of my life, who've said, 'I just didn't want to bother you.' And I'm like, 'You're one of my best friends. You calling me is not bugging me.
There have been times when people don't call me because they presume I'm busy. Don't presume!"
