New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Big Apple Style Marketing) Within the entertainment industry, music executives have long since been aware of the increasing influence that the Asian music scene has created internationally. But now, there's an artist,
Jesse McFaddin, that intends to take that influence one step further by announcing a wide scale series of projects on the actual date of the 11th anniversary of his band RIZE's formation, with a concept that is almost unheard of in North America.
Today, on November 11th, 2011
Jesse McFaddin announced the launch of his solo project in the North American market. Starting this week, he is releasing his latest track, GIMCRACK - a powerful electronic song that is the official anthem for the
Formula 1 racing series in Japan.
Jesse and his management team are pairing up with influential North American record pools to create various remixes which will then be released through those channels and made available for industry executives and DJs across the United States & Canada.
The GIMCRACK project is just a pre-cursor to Jesse's bigger and more ambitious goal - STAND UP! FUND. STAND UP! FUND doesn't refer to a charity event but rather a focus on encouraging creativity within the entertainment community - and aims to be the first of its kind.
Jesse plans to create an eleven-track album that is entirely collaborative. Over the course of the next few days,
Jesse will be releasing eleven new demo songs that will be available to download free for production teams interested in flexing their creative muscles and proving their abilities. During the next few months,
Jesse will pick a user-edited version of each song that he likes, and then work directly with that production team to finalize the track. At the end of this production period, all eleven collaborative tracks will be officially released on major international platforms like iTunes, Pandora, Galaxie and more with the production teams receiving full credit for their contributions.
Jesse McFaddin is the lead singer and founder of the extremely popular Japanese rock group, RIZE. RIZE is a hard rock/metal band that has been around for eleven years with major accomplishments such as performing at Live 8 in 2005 and Live Earth in 2007, having their song "Zero" licensed by Coke Zero Japan/Asia, various songs used for PS2 games such as "BioHazard", and have appeared live with NIN, Run DMC, Jay Z & Oasis. They toured in the US in 2003 on an "All American" tour with The Kottonmouth Kings, performing at 38 shows across the country.
Both the group, RIZE, and the lead singer,
Jesse McFaddin, are major icons in the Japanese music and pop culture scenes, influencing music, entertainment and fashion by way of Jesse's clothing line Slip&Co" which will debut in the US in February 2012 at the influential MAGIC - s.l.a.t.e. convention.
