Mike Tyson's Punch-out!! Retrogame Music Remix Out Now
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Greatest Bits Official Website) Video game music dj The Greatest Bits released a 2 track single with remixes from the Punch-Out!! video game series. Inspired by the Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! version from the Nintendo Entertainment System, The Greatest Bits remixed the training theme (Spit & Sigh Mix) and boxing theme (Star Punch Mix) of the game.
This 2 track single is The Greatest Bits' fifth release, following up to the critically acclaimed albums Mega Man 2, Donkey Kong Country, Tetris and Moonwalker: 8-bit tribute to Michael Jackson.

The Greatest Bits: Video Game Music DJ

The Greatest Bits (1978) is a Dutch DJ/Producer and musician who played in various bands for half of his life. The other half was mostly spent playing video games.
The Greatest Bits loves the chipsounds of the old game consoles and remixes them with modern beats and instruments. The result is a chiptune crossover style that combines the best of both worlds.

The 2 track single "Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!" is out now on iTunes, Amazon MP3 and facebook.com/thegreatestbits.

Press quotes on The Greatest Bits' previous video game tribute albums:

The Greatest Bits' Tetris EP is something of musical genius. Its quick, its catchy and its beyond clever. (new-reviews.co.uk on Tetris)

"After a few seconds of the intro, it suddenly burst into life as a full stereophonic onslaught of modern sounds, while retaining that retro feel. A score of 97%." (theretrogamesnews.com on Donkey Kong Country)

"The Greatest Bits manages to keep everything sounding simultaneously cheap and blippy yet full and modern. Most importantly, this sounds fun, and fun is what video games are supposed to be about." (Roctober Magazine on Mega Man 2)
