Music Legend Quincy Jones Joins Zenph Sound Innovations Artist Advisory Board
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC (Top40 Charts/ Crossroads PR) Zenph Sound Innovations, an entertainment technology company that builds advanced software to understand - and precisely recreate - how musicians play, today announced the appointment of musical legend Quincy Jones to its Artist Advisory Board. In addition, the company added key industry veterans to its leadership.

This news comes on the heels of Zenph's recent strategic partnership announcement with Yamaha Corporation of America. Beginning this fall, Yamaha will bundle its Disklavier and Disklavier PRO models with Mac and Windows versions of Zenph's groundbreaking software products.

Quincy Jones joins world-renowned saxophonist Branford Marsalis and Gordon Goodwin, saxophonist, keyboardist, and bandleader on Zenph's Artist Advisory Board. Throughout his 50 years in the entertainment industry, Jones has received many well-deserved awards and accolades, including 27 GRAMMY Awards, an Emmy, and the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Additionally, he is a Kennedy Center Honoree, was recognized by the National Endowment for the Arts as a Jazz Master, the nation's highest jazz honor, and was bestowed the National Medal of Arts, which is the United States' highest artistic honor.

Jones is a big fan of Zenph's work. 'For music education, for revival of the past and contemporary artists too, there is nothing, nothing, nothing like the magic of this musical miracle. I want to be a part of this,' he noted in a recent interview.

In addition to Jones' appointment, George F. Litterst has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer and Chief Creative Officer. He is a nationally known music educator, clinician, author, performer, and music-software developer.

Zenph added two new veterans to its leadership team. Dr. Milton Rubén Laufer joins Zenph as Director of Sales. He is an internationally acclaimed teacher, performer, and scholar who also worked for Baldwin Piano and Organ Company.

Brian Cook has joined as Head of Strategic Development. He possesses close to 30 years of international experience in building companies through acquisitions and strategic partnerships, and bringing them to private and public capital markets.

About Zenph Sound Innovations
Zenph creates revolutionary technology that opens new possibilities for music listening and interaction. The company has developed a fundamentally new method of encoding music as performance data rather than audio. This performance data is easily transformed in a number of ways, enabling users of Zenph products - professionals, hobbyists, students, and listeners - to participate in compelling, interactive musical experiences. The company's re-performance process was called 'a technological miracle' by The Wall Street Journal and one of the 'Best Ideas of the Year' by The New York Times Magazine. Zenph's recordings have received multiple GRAMMY nominations, and its Rachmaninoff Plays Rachmaninoff album on Sony Masterworks was described by the editor of Stereophile Magazine as 'perhaps the finest piano recording I have heard.'
