Yellow Bird - An Evening Of Music To Benefit Stupid Cancer
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ MT Press) Brandon Schott and MT Press will host an evening of music on Thursday December 1, 2011 to benefit Stupid Cancer, Inc (A Young Adult Cancer Foundation) Molly Malone's is graciously hosting the Yellow Bird Benefit where an all star line up of musicians will perform in the efforts to raise money for the cause. All proceeds will go to the Stupid Cancer, Inc, whose representatives will be on-site. Those in attendance can also donate to fundraising efforts by bidding on various prizes in the silent auction and raffle drawing.

The line up includes: Brandon Schott, Patricia Bahia, Meekos and Me, Rachel McGoye, and And All Became.

The headliner of the evening, young adult cancer survivor, Brandon Schott holds this event very closely at heart. Following the release on Brandon's album "13 Satellites", the event will also celebrate the release of Brandon Schott & Amy Petty's new single "Yellow Bird". All proceeds from sales will go to benefit stupidcancer.com. Schott states; "I've been in remission for almost 4 years, and music is as vital a part of my recovery now as it's ever been - it still celebrates and inspires. Working with Amy on this single was a beautifully uplifting and healing experience, and it's my honor to share our efforts with my peers in the young adult cancer community and beyond."

Patricia Bahia is a Los Angeles-based pop singer-songwriter, composer, and cancer survivor on a mission spread love, healing, joy and peace through the power of words and music, and to inspire others to follow their dreams.

Joey Colando and Danny Grab make up the infectious Meekos and Me. Joey's luring vocals matched by Danny's smoldering cello licks, mixed in with an array of percussion styles, soft guitar riffs and spacey synthesizers, set the band apart from other musicians to date delivering sublime and unconventional tracks.

Rachel McGoye's music brings a new meaning to the word melody. Her latest album "Ghetto Gloss" is filled with densely melodic pop sounds accompanied by razor sharp songwriting, with sensual worthy vocals, and complex instrumentals that captivate the listener.

With elements of psychedelic, folk, and psyche pop, indie outfit And All Became pumps out infectious melodies that continually captivates audiences. The songs, often dark and introspective, create a striking scene that invites the listener to focus intently on each word.

Not only will these five artists rock out together, but this event promises to fund a great cause.
