NEW YORK (P. Diddy Fans Website) - Hip hop music impresario and Broadway performer Sean "P Diddy" Combs was forced to leave Saturday's matinee performance of 'A Raisin in the Sun' because of a stomach ailment, a spokesman for the production said. Usually when an understudy takes over a Broadway role for a day, it goes unreported, but not when he is replacing Sean Combs ("P. Diddy"). Combs, who plays Walter Lee Younger in Broadway's "A Raisin in the Sun" - a frustrated limousine driver - showed up for a matinee performance on Saturday feeling ill, complaining of a stomach ailment, according to the Associated Press. He went on with the show, but by intermission, he was sent home by the stage manager. An understudy took over for the rest of the performance and for the evening show. The cause of his illness is unknown.
