Trombone Shorty Second Lines On Sound Opinions, Graces New Jazziz Cover
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Trombone Shorty scores the cover of JAZZIZ magazine's Winter 2011/2012 issue, on newsstands soon. The feature follows his Downbeat cover story, still on stands.

Check out Trombone Shorty Orleans Avenue's recent in-studio performance on WBEZ's 'Sound Opinions' here: https://bit.ly/v5W0Pk. The show's producers say that by "combining loud rock guitar, hip-hop drums and classic second line horns, Andrews seems to have discovered the new musical gumbo that defines New Orleans."

PBS Newshour's Art Beat blog recently caught up with Trombone Shorty, see the interview here: https://to.pbs.org/rslpxZ

Trombone Shorty is also the December Spotlight Artist for Music Rising, a non-profit replacing musical instruments destroyed by the 2005 Central Gulf hurricanes. The campaign was created by U2's The Edge, Bob Ezrinand and Henry Juszkiewicz with inaugural partners Gibson, Guitar Center Music Foundation, MusiCares and Musician's Friend. https://www.musicrising.org/news

The band is currently in the midst of a European tour before closing out their landmark year with shows in New Orleans, Aspen, Denver and two nights headlining San Francisco's legendary Fillmore Auditorium for New Year's Eve.
