Irish Songstress Eleanor McEvoy Impresses Sir Terry Wogan With Latest Album 'Alone' + Announces UK, Irish & European Tour Dates For 2012!
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Good Seed PR) Irish Songstress Eleanor McEvoy, vastly known for her winsome A Womans Heart, appeared on Sir Terry Wogan's radio show 'Weekend Wogan' on Sunday 4th of December.

A Woman's Heart is a compilation of twelve tracks performed by six female Irish artists, namely Eleanor McEvoy, Mary Black, Dolores Keane, Sharon Shannon, Frances Black, and Maura O'Connell. The album was released in July 1992 and sold over 750,000 copies worldwide, more than any other Irish album in Irish history. A special concert has been anounced in The Olympia, Dublin, Ireland in February to mark the 20th Anniversary. Tickets can be bought here: https://www.ticketmaster.ie/A-Womans-Heart-tickets/artist/1644618

Eleanor McEvoy has recently released her ninth studio album, Alone, which features 12 stripped-down solo tracks.

It is regarded as one of her most exquisite albums to date, showing off McEvoy's style and panache as both a performer, songwriter and composer.

Joining Sir Terry Wogan in conversation this month, McEvoy spoke about her career to date, her latest album 'Alone' and also performed 2 songs 'You'll hear better songs than this' and by request, she covered the well known Cyndi Lauper song 'True Colours'.

In reaction to the great feedback from listeners to the show, Eleanor writes: "I really enjoyed doing the Weekend Wogan Show - it was a joy from start to finish. I was bowled over by the lovely warm reception from Terry himself and I am really excited from the reaction to the show, the tweets and messages are still flowing in'.
