Michael Buble Holiday Album Continues To Top Charts
NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) Michael Buble's Christmas album remained atop the Billboard 200 for the fifth straight week, while Adele held down the #2 slot, making her album the best-selling of the year with Buble trailing. His album, "Christmas" sold 467,000 copies, held its reign at the top of the Billboard 200 album chart on Wednesday for the fifth consecutive week.

It successfully fended off challenges by both British pop star Adele, whose "21" had been topping the charts earlier this year, and Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy with his just-released "TM: 103 Hustlerz Ambition."

1. "Christmas" - Michael Buble (467,000)
2. "21" - Adele (399,000)
3. "Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition" - Young Jeezy (233,000)
4. "Under the Mistletoe" - Justin Bieber (225,000)
5. "Take Care" - Drake (131,000)
6. "Own the Night" - Lady Antebellum (110,000)
7. "Talk That Talk" - Rihanna (99,000)
8. "Here and Now" - Nickelback (99,000)
9. "El Camino" - The Black Keys (92,000)
10. "Now 40" Compilation - Various Artist (88,000)

According to Billboard.com, overall album sales in this past chart week (ending Dec. 25) totaled 15.11 million units, up 35% compared to the sum last week (11.20 million) and up less than 1% compared to the comparable sales week of 2010 (15.08 million). Year to date album sales stand at 322.86 million, up 1% compared to the same total at this point last year (319.01 million).
