New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Oblivious Signal Official Website) Singer and producer Cristina T. Feliciano named Florida's
Queen of Rock by popular votes totalling over 25,000 through New Noise Webzine www.newnoisewebzine.com.
The newly announced rock queen will be taking off for NAMM in LA Jan 15-22 and return in time for the Driven
Music festival in Miami. All this between Oblivious Signal putting the finishing touches on their soon to be released acoustic album and Feliciano's work producing other regional artists.
New Noise Editor Drew Herndon expressed his sentiments regarding the contest, saying, "Myself and everyone at NNW would like to congratulate Cristina on a job well done, and I couldn't be more proud of who will represent NNW and the state of FL as the inaugural
Queen Of Rock. A very special thanks goes out to the fans, for their dedication throughout the contest. Cristina wouldn't have been victorious without your amazing support.
While fans proved their loyalty and dedication to their favorite female rockers by voting day and night, passing on the link to their friends and pushing a very tight competition, Oblivious Signal continued to reward the loyalty with special fan prizes when they hit the next goal in voting numbers, as well as giving away never before released songs at different landmarks.
"We are so lucky to have fans who are willing to do anything we need them to in order to contribute to Oblivious Signal's success. Over 25,000 votes! We are so honored to know we have that kind of support!"
With competition running tight for the final days Oblivious Signal's fans set up round the clock voting teams and hit up all of their friends to help Feliciano maintain her lead.
"We also feel badly for New Noise and for the band's true fans that another performer had to be removed from the competition. It was really exciting to be running neck n neck with another performer, with our fans keeping us out front the whole way. It's too bad that someone messed up her chances, but the magazine had to maintain the integrity of the contest. "
"Cristina exemplifies everything that the NNW
Queen should represent: Hard-working, Talented, Dedicated, passionate, and an overall wonderful human being.
Her band, Oblivious Signal, is extremely talented, and we are so proud to welcome them into the New Noise Family. For a band so early in their careers, they have a firm grasp on the business end of the music industry, and know how to connect with their fans better than many of their peers. Their constant promotion, through their own websites as well as many others, was a major reason Cristina was crowned NNW's
Queen Of Rock. A perfect example: Offering to give away an entire CD to their fans for getting them to 20k votes, which happened a mere three days later. This is a band headed places, led by their powerful and engaging frontwoman, "
Queen" Cristina T. Feliciano." Herndon continued.
NNW and Oblivious Signal would also like to personally recognize Guitar International www.guitarinternational.com; Target Audience Magazine (www.https://targetaudiencemagazine.com/); and Earbits.com for their valuable support and promotion during the contest.
