Harrisburg, PA (Top40 Charts/ Millennium Music Conference) The 16th annual Millennium Music Conference and Showcase will be held February 17 & 18, 2012 at the Radisson Hotel & Convention Center (Camp Hill) and 30 showcase venues in and around Harrisburg, PA.

Over 100 music industry professionals will participate as panelists, speakers, mentors, sponsors, exhibitors and talent scouts to network, do business and share their experience with attendees. Sessions include information on music business publishing, licensing, copyrights, promotion, marketing, social media, legal representation, songwriting, entrepreneurship and fan funding for independent artists. Speakers include: Grammy nominated engineer David Ivory, of Ivory Productions; Dr. E. Michael Harrington, William Patterson University; Diane Lockner of Capitol Records - Nashville and Lou Plaia, Co-founder of ReverbNation.

MusiCares.org, in conjunction with Smile Programs-PA, will offer a free dental clinic on Friday, February 17 at the convention center for any music professional of limited income with no dental insurance that fills out a MusiCares dental clinic application. The Radisson Convention Center main stage will also host headliners Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds from Brooklyn, NY on Friday, February 17 and The Heavy Pets from Ft. Lauderdale, FL on Saturday, February 18. Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds is a nine-piece powerhouse that puts a modern spin on classic soul. Arleigh Kincheloe's (Sister Sparrow) powerful voice fronts the mighty band that lights up the stage with jaw-dropping displays of musicianship and their blend of seductive soul and dirty blues-rock. The Heavy Pets are renowned for their explosive live performances and original tunes that showcase their distinctive rock-funk-fusion. "Voted Top 10 Albums of 2010 - The Heavy Pets are ready for prime time", said The Huffington Post.

In addition over 275 performances will be held over the weekend at 30 showcase venues. All night time showcases performances are open to the public and most are free of charge.
