New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ RoadRunner Records) Theory of a Deadman have announced the dates for their 2012 US tour, which kicks off April 9 in Tallahassee, Florida. Fans will be the first to purchase tickets on February 1; while the general public will be able to buy tickets for most of the dates beginning on February 3. Additional dates will be announced shortly.
Theory of a Deadman released their fourth studio album The Truth Is… on July 12, 2011; it immediately exploded into the charts, taking the #8 spot on the Billboard Top 200 and the #2 spot on the iTunes Rock Album charts. The Truth Is… has scanned almost 200,000 albums to date.
Theory of a Deadman's current single, which is also a huge fan favorite, "
Hurricane" went to radio this week. That track hit #9 on the iTunes Rock Songs Chart during the album's first week of release. "Lowlife, the first single from The Truth Is…, was the #1 song at Rock radio for three consecutive weeks, while the second single, "Bitch Came Back" was top 15 at Active Rock radio.
Theory of a Deadman has sent 16 songs into the top 25 on various charts, including three #1's.
Theory of a Deadman has been together for over a decade and created a sound that fans have embraced throughout the world, on albums like the platinum Scars & Souvenirs (2008), Gasoline (2005), and
Theory of a Deadman (2002).
