Target Offers Deluxe Edition Of The Fray's New Album "Scars And Stories"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Target Corporation) Target Corporation (NYSE: TGT) today announced it is partnering with The Fray on the release of the exclusive deluxe edition of their third album, "Scars and Stories." The deluxe edition of "Scars and Stories" is available now for pre-order at Target.com and will be offered at Target stores nationwide beginning February 7.

"The Fray is a dynamic, unique rock band and the live sound of this album is really spectacular"

The Target deluxe edition of the album features four bonus tracks: an acoustic version of "Streets of Philadelphia," and three live tracks: "The Fighter," "You Found Me" and "How to Save a Life."

"The Fray is a dynamic, unique rock band and the live sound of this album is really spectacular," said John Butcher, vice president of Entertainment, Target. "We are proud of this partnership, especially because it gives fans of The Fray exclusive live and acoustic tracks they can't get anywhere else."

Formed in 2002 by schoolmates Isaac Slade and Joe King in Denver, Colorado, The Fray had national success with their first single, "Over My Head (Cable Car)," which became a top 10 hit in the United States. The release of their second single, "How to Save a Life," brought the band worldwide fame and ranked as a top three single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song was also a top five single in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The group broke through in 2005 with the debut of their double platinum album by the same name. The group's second self-titled album, released in 2009, debuted at number one on Billboard charts and was certified gold in the United States, Australia and Canada. It was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album in 2010.
