New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Scala & Kolacny Brothers, the international sensation dubbed "rock's heavenly choir" by NPR, are moving full force through 2012 as their "ethereal spine-chillers" (Elle) take center stage in an upcoming public television special, trailers for the hit drama 'Downton Abbey,' and the group's revelatory live shows that have captivated the US and Europe.
Their pledge drive special, 'Scala & Kolacny Brothers - Live From Bruges,' was recorded at Concertgebouw Bruges --- in the historic city of Bruges, Belgium and will air throughout the US beginning in March.After traveling to Korea, the group will also revisit the US for Northeast and Midwest shows in June, reintroducing fans to the dark, cinematic style of Scala that dazzled crowds at Coachella, SXSW, and venues throughout the US in 2011.

Scala, led by brothers Steven and Stijn, have also taken
Europe by storm, charting in Ireland (#1 on both the single and album charts last fall), Germany, UK, and Italy. Their interpretations of classic songs - U2's "With or Without You," The Police's "Every Breath You Take," and Wham!'s "
Last Christmas" - have appeared in the trailers for ITV1's Emmy-winning series 'Downton Abbey.' Scala previously sparked attention when their "brilliantly haunting" (EW) version of Radiohead's "
Creep" provided the soundtrack of the trailer for "The Social Network." This same song was also featured on no less than two Simpsons episodes (Fox) - "The Ten-Per-Cent Solution," which aired December 4, 2011 and "The D'oh-cial Network," which aired January 15, 2012.
