Double U will give youth a double dose during Mega Fest, June 23 – 25, 2004 in Atlanta, Ga. The Dynamic Duo will spin nightly during the 3D Youth
Experience at the Georgia World Congress Center. The youth portion of the conference will feature anointed preaching, various workshops such as "Bling, Bling: Money, Scholarships, Entrepreneurship" and a late night concert with some of today's hottest gospel artists. Special guests include Dietrick Haddon, Kirk Franklin, Tonex, Mary-Mary, and Pastor Jamal Bryant to name a few.
DJ Lace is a seasoned mix DJ who started spinning break beats for hip-hop pioneers on the streets of New York. During the late 70's and early 80's, he spun in New York's hottest dance clubs. Relocating to Georgia to attend college, he quickly became Fort Valley State's most sought after DJ spinning at fraternity parties and local clubs. After giving his life to Christ, it would be several years before he would re-enter the DJ scene.
Now, only spinning positive, inspirational music, he is a well-respected DJ working as Program Director for WHLE 106.3 and spinning before thousands at festivals, parties, concerts and special events including Hot 107.9 Memorial Day Weekend Radio Special, Club Jubilee and SGN the light to name a few. Also, DJ Lace is the owner of New World Music (www.neworldmusic.net) an online inspirational music store and the DJ Lace Mix Club.
DJ E. Double U, affectionately known by acquaintances as "E Dub" remains busy traveling nationwide as mix DJ for femcee for Christ "Elle Roc" performing before thousands at festivals and conferences including Sonshine Music Festival, Holy Hip Hop Awards, Inside Out Soul Festival, and Kingdom Bound Festival.
Also, DJ E Double U has shared the stage with top recording artists Mary-Mary, Smokie Norful, and Tank performing at the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Game, New Birth 5K Walk, Radio One/Praise 97.5 Gospel Brunch, Radio One/Praise 97.5 Gospel Skate, Gospel Heritage Foundation Late Night Praise Party and Gospo Centric All – Star Celebrity Basketball Game to name a few.
